Returns Policy
Sprezzaturra is committed to providing a transparent and satisfying shopping experience. This Returns Policy applies to all orders placed on the Site, in accordance with French consumer law (Code de la consommation).
1.1 Legal Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to provide any reason or pay any penalty.
To exercise this right, please notify us of your decision to withdraw by e-mail at contact@sprezzaturravintage.com or via the Site's contact form, before the 14-day period expires.
1.2 Items Eligible for Return
The following items are eligible for return:

New items: in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, with all original tags and packaging intact

Second-hand items: in the condition described and photographed on the Site, with no additional damage caused by the customer
The following items are excluded from the right of return:

Personalized or made-to-order items

Underwear, swimwear, and hygiene-related items (for health and safety reasons)

Items that are visibly worn, washed, damaged, or with tags removed

Sale items or bundles, unless a defect is confirmed
1.3 Return Procedure
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

Step 1 – Notification: send an e-mail to contact@sprezzaturravintage.com stating your order number, the item(s) to be returned, and the reason for the return. You will receive a confirmation within 48 business hours.

Step 2 – Packaging: carefully pack the item in its original packaging or equivalent protective packaging.

Step 3 – Shipping: send the package to the return address provided in our confirmation e-mail, at your own expense, using a trackable shipping service (we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage during return transit).

Step 4 – Inspection: upon receipt, we will inspect the condition of the item within 5 business days.
1.4 Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the following cases:

The item received was defective or did not match its description

An error was made on our part in preparing the order
In these exceptional cases, Sprezzaturra will cover the return shipping costs and provide a prepaid shipping label.
1.5 Condition of Second-Hand Items
Sprezzaturra pays close attention to the description and photography of each second-hand item (condition grading: excellent, very good, good). We encourage you to carefully review item descriptions and photos before purchasing. If you believe there is a significant discrepancy between the description and the item received, please contact us immediately at contact@sprezzaturravintage.com.
1.6 International Orders
Sprezzaturra ships to the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada. As a matter of policy, Sprezzaturra applies the same 14-day right of withdrawal and the same return conditions described in this Policy to all customers, regardless of their country of residence, even where local law would only require a shorter period or fewer protections.
For international returns (outside the EU), customers are responsible for accurately completing any customs declaration required for the return shipment. Sprezzaturra is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by customs processing. We recommend marking returned goods as “returned merchandise” on customs forms to avoid unnecessary import charges.
All refund amounts are calculated and issued in Euros (EUR); the final amount received may vary slightly for non-EUR payment methods due to currency conversion.
Refund Policy
This Refund Policy complements the Returns Policy and outlines the terms and timeframes applicable to refunds issued by Sprezzaturra.
2.1 Refund Conditions
A refund is issued under the following circumstances:

Exercise of the legal right of withdrawal within the 14-day period, following receipt and inspection of the returned item

Item received defective, damaged in transit, or not matching its description

Order cancelled at your request prior to shipment

Stock shortage or inability to deliver after order confirmation
2.2 Amount Refunded
The refund covers:

The price of the returned item(s)

The original shipping costs (only in the case of a full order cancellation or a defective/non-conforming item)
The following are excluded from the refund:

Original shipping costs in the case of a partial order return

Return shipping costs, except as set out in Section 3.4 of the Returns Policy
2.3 Refund Timeframe
Refunds will be processed within a maximum of 14 calendar days from:

The date we were notified of your decision to withdraw (in case of cancellation before shipment)

The date the returned item was received and inspected
Sprezzaturra is committed to processing refunds as promptly as possible, generally within 5 to 7 business days.
2.4 Refund Method
Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original order:

Credit/debit card: refunded to the card used for the purchase (additional time may apply depending on your bank)

PayPal: refunded to your PayPal account

Other accepted payment methods on the Site: refunded to the original account
Sprezzaturra does not issue cash refunds, checks, or manual bank transfers, except in cases of proven technical impossibility.
2.5 Refund as Store Credit
At the customer's express request, Sprezzaturra may offer a refund in the form of store credit (promo code) valid on the Site, equal to the refundable amount. Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
2.6 Defective or Non-Conforming Items
If you receive a defective item or one that does not match its description on the Site, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at contact@sprezzaturravintage.com, including supporting photographs. After verification, we will either replace the item (subject to availability) or issue a full refund, including return shipping costs.
2.7 Statutory Warranty
Independently of this Policy, new items sold on the Site benefit from the statutory warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) for 2 years from the date of delivery. Second-hand items benefit from a 12-month warranty.

2.9 Currency and International Payments
All transactions on the Site, including refunds, are processed in Euros (EUR). Customers paying with a card or account denominated in another currency (GBP, USD, CAD, etc.) will receive a refund converted back through the same payment method; the exact amount received in the customer's local currency may differ slightly from the original charge due to exchange rate fluctuations and any conversion fees applied by the customer's bank or card issuer. Sprezzaturra does not compensate for differences arising from currency conversion.
